I didn’t realize it has been so long since I last posted. My sense of time is different than yours. But I think it has been about 600 naps since I was last in your inbox.
My household has been busy recently with my human sisters applying to colleges. It has been quite stressful, not sure why humans do this to themselves, especially when there are so many nice, soft surfaces around the house to lie on and think about catching those plump but quick rabbits in the yard.
I heard this college thing means they might be leaving home for a while, and that makes me very sad. So I logged into their SCOIR dashboards to see where they are applying and decided to apply too. The process is entirely over the Internet now, so no one knows I am a dog right?
The essays were annoying but I will share one with you. If you were an admissions officer would you accept me?
Question: Answer the question "Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. Why does it captivate you? What or who do you turn to when you want to learn more?" from the perspective of a four year old golden doodle who likes long walks in the park, car rides, playing with his girlfriends, napping and eating lots of treats, in the style of
Answer:
Yo, you wanna know what really gets my tail wagging and makes me forget about everything else? Well, lemme tell ya, it's that magical thing called "car rides." Oh man, those four-wheel wonders take me on the most pawsome adventures! When my human grabs those car keys, I can't contain my excitement. It's like my own personal roller coaster!
You see, there's something about the wind rushing through my fur, the smell of new places, and the feeling of freedom that just captivates me. I stick my head out of the window, tongue flapping in the breeze, and I feel like I'm on top of the world. Time doesn't matter when we're on the road together.
And when we're not on the road, my other favorite pastime is taking those long walks in the park. The park is like a treasure trove of smells, sights, and sounds. Every blade of grass has a story, every squirrel is a potential friend (or chase partner), and every tree is a potential spot for marking my territory. It's like a whole universe right in my backyard.
But let's not forget my love for playing with my girlfriends. They're the best! We run, we chase, we wrestle, and sometimes we just lay in the sun and soak up the good vibes. It's pure joy, and I could do it all day without a care in the world.
Now, when it comes to learning more about these amazing things, I turn to my humans. They're like my wise, all-knowing guides. They show me where the best parks are, they plan those epic car rides, and they introduce me to new doggy friends. Plus, they always have a stash of treats for me, and you know how much I love treats!
So there you have it, from a four-year-old golden doodle's perspective, car rides, park adventures, playtime with friends, and the love and guidance of my humans are what make my tail wag and my heart sing. It's the simple things in life that really capture my canine spirit! Woof! 🐾
Tashi! You are the cutest! May you have many treats, car rides and long walks for all your hard work.
Tashi, you are so sincere. Good dog! If you had listened to your college entrance coach you would have written that you like to spend all your time STUDYING!
